Hi friends!
I hope y’all had a wonderful holiday! Mine was rather low key which was kind of just perfect. My family has a tradition of spending our Christmas holiday in Hawaii (minus last year when we went to Hong Kong for my uncles wedding), so on Christmas Eve we headed towards the rainbow state.
{(1) takeoff from Dallas-Fort Worth, (2) somewhere over Palm Springs, (3) stopover at LAX, (4) Catalina Island in the distance}
‘Friends’ kept my sister and i entertained on the plane
We finally arrived in Honolulu kinda late on Christmas Eve and pretty much called it a night. Christmas morning was gloomy and dreary, but set the tone to quite the relaxing day.
We started with some pancakes, both korean & regular…
wrapped some presents…well at least my mom and I did. The sister took a nap. Typical.
Then a little later headed out to see Les Mis with these lovelies..
Btw, Les Mis is AMAZING. go see it!
And we rounded out the night with a nice {christmas} dinner at Big City Diner..
{loco moco for me}
A perfectly relaxing christmas day, I’d say.

Some other things I’ve been up to:
I tried insanity for the first time ever yesterday, thanks to my friend Lauren.
40 mins later we were dripping in sweat, but feeling quite accomplished.
And some eats:
{(1) spicy tofu soup, (2) salmon omelette + mac nut french toast, (3) potato chips + jajek dip, (4) and my current obsession – instant miso soup}
And the sun came right back out the day after christmas, so I feel like I should be doing something productive outdoors right now. Does eating shave ice count? Probably not.
Have a good one!

Christmas in Hawaii?! I’d love to have a tradition like that! My Christmases are usually spent trying to stay warm while I get buried in snow
Glad to hear that you had such a good one!
Buried in snow?? Thats a christmas I can only dream of!
