Fall Breakfast: Round 2
Let the games begin!
Since my welcome fall breakfast was a total flop the other day (to me at least…), I thought I’d try again.
This time I nixed the canned pumpkin and quinoa and brought in an old favorite.
Pancakes.
You can’t go wrong with pancakes. Especially when they’re Kodiak Cakes.
Enter:
AMAZINGLY GOOD BREAKFAST
It all came together in a flash.
1 cup kodiak cake mix + 1 cup water equals 3 ultra fluffy and delicious pancakes
and
3/4 of a large apple chopped and heated in a pot + a splash of almond milk + a couple dashes of cinnamon + 1/2 t vanilla bean paste stirred in after turing off the heat equals delicious pancake topping
A drizzle of manuka honey as a finishing touch.
I’d say, the only problem with this breakfast was that the last bite came too soon.
Thats okay though. Apple season has only just begun and I foresee many more of these in the near future.
Hellooooo Fall! ![]()
Now if the weather would just cooperate…
What’s your favorite fall breakfast?

mmmMm, these looks wonderful! I would have loved to wake up to a plate of pancakes!
Its not really a fall-ish breakfast, but for the past days, chia pudding has been my favorit! And the buckwheat porridge Ive made a few times! And that one is more of an fall-recipe! So comfy and good!
I’ve been meaning to try out your buckwheat porridge! Looks so good!
Looks DELICIOUS!!
Thanks Shannon! It was quite tasty
Those pancakes look SO good! And combined with apples, it really sound like the best fall breakfast! I am keeping things simple now, so my breakfast of choice is oatmeal with raisins and raspberry jam.
Oatmeal with raisins and jam sounds like quite the delicious breakfast to me!
Oh wow that looks seriously amazing!
Pretty much my ideal breakfast
Super easy to make!
